Stunning Piemonte Villa With Reformer Studio
Set among the rolling hills and vineyards of Piedmont, this beautiful villa offers a peaceful and inspiring setting for retreats, workshops and wellness experiences. The property has been thoughtfully converted from a traditional Piedmontese farmhouse, combining authentic Italian character with the comfort and facilities needed for a memorable group stay.
Just 3 km from the charming town of Canelli, the villa is surrounded by vineyards, countryside and panoramic views across the Piedmontese landscape. Canelli forms part of the UNESCO-listed Vineyard Landscapes of Piedmont: Langhe-Roero and Monferrato, a region celebrated for its exceptional scenery, rich food culture and long-standing winemaking heritage.
Accommodation
The villa is ideally suited to groups of up to 8 retreat guests plus 2 instructors.
Accommodation is arranged across four independent one-bedroom suites, with two guests accommodated per suite. The instructors have their own private studio-style accommodation, providing additional privacy throughout the retreat.
Each residential unit has its own living space, bathroom and kitchen facilities, creating a comfortable balance between shared retreat time and personal space.
Living & Dining Spaces
The main living area is located on the ground floor and provides a spacious, sociable environment for guests to come together. The open-plan layout incorporates a comfortable lounge, bar area, dining space and fully equipped Italian-style kitchen.
Large doors open directly onto the garden, making it easy to move between the indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the day.
The villa is arranged over three floors, connected by an internal stone staircase. On arrival, guests enter through the main entrance from the private parking area into the central living and dining space.
The surrounding grounds feature several areas for relaxing, dining and gathering, including two covered pergolas. The outdoor spaces are particularly beautiful in the evening, offering a wonderful place to enjoy the sunset over the surrounding hills.
Bedrooms & Private Suites
The accommodation is spread across the ground and first floors.
On the ground floor are two separate suites, each comprising a sitting/living area, kitchen, bedroom and private bathroom with shower. One features a double bedroom with beds that can be separated, while the other is arranged as a twin room.
The first floor contains three further accommodation areas. Two are one-bedroom suites with their own living area, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. One offers a double bed that can be separated, while the other has twin beds.
The final accommodation is a private studio suite featuring a kitchen and dining area, a single bed, an additional foldaway bed, a bathroom with shower and a spacious private terrace.
This flexible layout makes the villa particularly well suited to retreat groups, allowing guests to have their own space while still enjoying generous communal areas.
Pool & Outdoor Spaces
The villa's extensive grounds provide plenty of room for relaxation, outdoor dining and informal gatherings.
At the heart of the garden is a 12 x 4 metre heated swimming pool, located approximately 15 metres from the house. The pool has a depth ranging from around 1.10 to 1.40 metres and features Roman steps and a ladder for easy access.
The pool is finished with a vinyl lining, has salt-water purification and can be illuminated in the evening, making it possible to enjoy a swim after sunset. The water is generally maintained at approximately 26–28°C when heated.
Adjacent to the pool is a dedicated sun terrace with loungers, sunbeds and parasols, together with a whirlpool/Jacuzzi. There is also a solar-heated outdoor shower.
The pool is generally available from the final Saturday of April through to the first Saturday of October.
The approximately 4,000 sq m grounds combine lawns and woodland, with around 2,000 sq m of lawned garden. Mature trees, cypress trees, flowering hedges, oleanders and roses create a beautiful natural backdrop around the property.
A covered pergola between the house and pool provides an inviting outdoor living space, while a separate paved terrace close to the house is furnished for alfresco dining — perfect for long lunches, relaxed dinners and enjoying the surrounding views.
Pilates & Wellness Facilities
For Pilates retreats, the villa has an impressive dedicated studio in the basement.
The spacious gym is equipped with professional Merrithew equipment and is available for use with a qualified/certified instructor.
The studio includes:
